A little name change

I recently took on a new leadership role at work and was updating my professional email signature the other day. Then, I got to thinking about my “blog signature”. If you’ve been following I’ve Bean Travelling for awhile, you’ll know a bit about the origin of this blog and how I came to start writing under the pseudonym of “Chuckles”. It’s getting a little weird to have people write comments and emails addressing me by this nickname, so I’ve decided to make a small edit.

I’m not going to bother going back through my 100+ old posts to change all my signatures. Those will stick around as evidence of the evolution of this blog. And Mr. Chuckles will still be referred to as “Mr. Chuckles” for now. 😉

Happy blogging!

  2. It was the interview that did it, wasn’t it? 😉 Once I get my copyediting certificate and start my part-time freelancing business (for which I already have an inactive WP page set up), I may have to reveal my identity as well… 🙂

    1. Copy editing actually sounds like a fun side gig! 🤓 I suppose real names may be necessary if you’re getting into professional ventures.

      1. Exactly, especially if I link up the two blog sites and if, as planned, we start each podcast with something like: “The Travel Architect Podcast, brought to you by our sponsor, blah-blah-blah editing!” 🙂

  4. Chuckles or Jess, it doesn’t matter…it’s the content of your blog that I’m drawn to! All the same, it’s nice to get to know you a little more!
